The silent movie was perfect. How long did silent movies last after talkies came out? Probably that's about how long printed newspapers will last now that I can get text, video, podcasts, and live links all in a single news story.
Have you watched network TV news lately? Practically every commercial is for some geezer nostrum.
No kidding about the evening TV news. I have to admit I laugh out loud every other ad, thinking I'm better off staying fit and healthy because the side effects of all those "wonder" drugs will kill you!
